Art classes, festive workshops, March Break programs, summer camps & even birthday parties! are all wonderful ways to learn through the arts and celebrate the seasons, at the Garrison Creek Art Centre!

The centre is situated in Toronto’s West End, near Dufferin Grove Park, on the main floor of a sunny house. In warm weather, classes are held in the outdoor garden/almost forest studio! Art, music & drama programs are offered to children from 6-12 yrs. 


Groups are small with 2-4 artist/teachers available to give lots of one-on-one encouragement.


The centre is dedicated to extending learning & spreading culture through the arts. It has been running since 1997.

IN-PERSON, FALL ART CLASSES ARE BACK! 6-12 years

After school Wednesdays 4-5:30pm, Saturdays 1:30-3pm, $198./per 5 weeks

Explore natural science, ancient civilizations & the work of great artists through creative drawing & painting.

At present, due to Covid, classes are being held in small groups in the outdoor garden studio. (not indoors)

Live, Online!

 

Making art can be a gateway to learning & help

process emotions.

These new live, online classes emphasize creativity,

curiosity & interaction. Through stories, slideshows,

collaborative drawing games, painting, mixed media

& sculpture, students will be guided to investigate

the curriculum.  Science, literacy, math, history &

social studies are among weekly topics.

Inspiration from a range of artists including Emily Carr,

Henri Rousseau, Georgia O'Keeffe, Yayoi Kusama,

David Hockney & Keith Haring.

 

Choose private or small groups

(4 students of similar age). 

Art supplies will be provided in a kit.

In an effort to accommodate different schedules, dates

& times will be confirmed as families sign up.

Ongoing /continuous registration  $198/per 6 weeks

Discounts available for families with siblings.
